Beautiful and old church.

We visited Kronberg as part of a hike and happened to pass the church. We were totally surprised. Walls ceilings all painted. The organ was a poem, it's a shame we couldn't hear it. The visit was worth it. My recommendation is to sit on a bench and let your eyes wander.

This church, which appears rather inconspicuous from the outside, impresses with its very original, unchanged charm inside. An insider tip for lovers of historical buildings who are also interested in ceiling paintings.

The previous speakers said it well, here again: The wall paintings are downright revolutionary for the time: Where do you see in such old churches that bishops, nobles and rich merchants are burning in hell? Take a closer look. I always think about the courage the painter must have had back then.

I was a guest here for a baptism and I have to say that the priest gave a really good speech and ceremony. I liked that very much. I would recommend for religious people.
