Renaissanceburg Lüdinghausen Concerts

Is a really good place to go on a day trip. The place really easy to get around by foot, has well placed directions.

Nice place to visit, but no much guidance

A beautiful Schloss ( Castle) in a state of excellent repair , the 3 defence zones were still in place and it was exciting and amazing to be able to see what the land barons of the time had put in place to defend their regimes. Fully functional moats and quarters barns and stables. Even a little church outside the defence area. 🤔 nice touch though. I'll be back to investigate this and others in the area.

Belongs to the town Luedinghausen and as such is in use most days for various events. Can walk round grounds and parts of the building free of charge most days during the week. Good christmas market and craft markets held a couple of times each year. Parking and town center only 5 mins (300 meters) walk away.
