The Landshuter Wedding is a fantastic event every four years with 2,500 participants in gorgeous costumes. The Polish Queen Hedwig married the Count of Bavaria in 1475 with horn blowers, flag bearers, tournaments and rustic food. Festivities last about six weeks, definitely worth it.
