Peterskirche Leipzig Concerts 2024-2025

Remarkable, beautiful, unique, It's remarkable how the processes of ongoing restoration and construction impact the atmosphere in the St Peter's Church. Other churches are dominated by a hushed reverence or a meditative stillness. Only children dare break the subdued silence. Here, the artisans are at work. They make conversations, they communicate about the run of the cables, their tools and bustle create a very relatable tapestry of sound. Where other places of worship are sometimes sterile, seemingly devoid of life and warmth, merry even slightly forbidding, here, the fact that you can see a very day-to-day life unfolding invites you to a very different, very humane meditation.

Very nice church architecture with some surrounding gardens

Lutherenkirche or peterkirche is situated between two streets, Reimanstraße und Schletterstraße. And fairly 25 meters walk from Café Waldi. This is what I believe a neglected church in Leipzig. It's dirty and a dumpster is widely open in front of the entrance. I personally like this church and it's minute Gothic descriptions. Nothing much to say about this.

Medieval Kirche! Very impressive one. I would suggest to be here when the bells are ringing! Very reminiscent!

Beautiful church. At the moment it undergoes serious renovation, but the toilets underneath the entrance are ready and really unique for a church!
