Van der Valk Hotel Melle - Osnabrück Concerts 2024

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff were very helpful and found that if we needed something we simply needed to ask. We visited Osnabrück during the day for excursions and enjoyed relaxing in the sauna in the evening.

Classy establishment with the most extravagant breakfast presentation I've seen. Rooms are clean and quite large (we stayed in a standard double, ground floor, facing the backside park). Gym & relax facilities are small but modern, clean and nice. The park and pond in the back are lovely for a late doggy walk. All this and also being pet friendly awards it an extra star. Just make sure you get informed about the rate for bringing a pet: we read that it was €10 on another booking site (the only info we could find) but on arrival it turned out to be €25 (according to the staff, they've made a 150% cost increase since last year...). No matter that whole debacle, I would definitely stay there again. Great value for money!

The best hotel in Germany! The rooms are huge, very comfortable, very clean like the all hotel. Beautiful ambiance and the food is just amazing! I have never eaten such rich and quality breakfasts in a hotel, with fresh products. This hotel is the guarantee for great quality time, nice sleep (the beds are amazing) and recharging of energy. The team is the nicest and kindest!

I arrived for a business meetings. The location was very good for me. The hotel is very clean and the rooms size are big. I got a room on the first floor facing the the main road. You can hear the road traffic not too much but you better to take a room facing the garden.

Liked · The hotel looks the same as in the photographs, so no bad surprise. It is located directly on the A30 highway, but the garden side was very quiet. We had a very spacious room, not the most modern fit-out, but well maintained and very clean. Comfortable beds. Very professional and friendly Reception staff Disliked · The breakfast was ok, but it leaves some room for quality improvement. Sausage and cheese varieties seem very basic quality and for sure no Dutch cheese offered. Then we had a bad experience when trying the dinner at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant was busy at 8:00 pm, but still some empty tables. Once we were guided to one of these the waiters just passed our table, no greeting nor bringing the menu nor taking the order for about 20mins. When we decided to leave a waitress asked why we want to leave and why we did not order. We just took the car to eat elsewhere. It doesn't feel right if a restaurant visit turns out like this...
