Evangelisch-Lutherische Ludgeri-Kirche Concerts

One of the best places on earth to hear organ music. The organ is a legendary and well-restored organ by Arp Schnitger with some pipe work from an even older instrument. I had the chance of performing on it three times, and I can confidently say that it is one of the best organs in the world. Definitely worth coming for an organ concert here.

Ludgeri, The largest Protestant church in East Frisia. Worth a visit. The building dating back to the early 14th century. Exceptional: the famous organ!

The Ludgeri Church in Norden looks back on a long history. The church was built in different construction phases and is located directly on the old market in the north. You can see a lot of historical inventory in the interior. If objects could talk, you would be able to listen to things here that go back to the 13th/14th century... So if you're ever in the north, definitely stop by.

When we arrived, the church opened on Fridays at 3 p.m. The Christmas tree was still in the church, so the visibility to see the organ was reduced. Too bad, but okay. No entrance required, but voluntary contributions are requested, which is stated on a sign.

Great church, held an ecumenical service on Reformation Day, which we really enjoyed. You should see the church! What's even more special is the bell tower on the other side of the street.
