Nicolaus Copernicus Planetarium Nürnberg Concerts 2024

I went to watch an adult show about space travel and it was disappointing. The seating unless you are centered is not great and the production was from 2007, ie very old and therefore out of touch with current realities. It's unfortunate. They could do much better.

We always have a great experience when we come back to the English presentation.

The English show "Billion Suns" was okay, the talking felt a bit like those English listening exams we used to have in highschool. Honestly the highlight for us was that the old guy next to us fell asleep during the show. We expected more of the awesome looking projector in the middle but it didn't actually serve a purpose. From what we could tell everything was one with the projectors on the side. The chairs were not comfortable enough to sit looking up in for the entire 30 minutes. All in all it was okay, nothing spectacular and felt a bit like an video you could find on youtube or elsewhere on the internet. Was hoping that an expert or someone would tell us more about things we saw and on the newer high quality images that were shown on display in the hallway.

Hard to give the place anything positive when they just cancel every show. They offer a single show per month in English and they were both canceled, in October and November due to "staff shortages." If you don't have the staff, then don't offer the show in the first place.
