Worth the visit, the Gothic structure, with incredible carved sculptures and stone work embedded into the walls are impressive. Unlike some churches you are allowed to walk to the back/rear.

St. Sebald is one of the oldest churches ⛪ in the city of Nuremberg. It takes its name from Sebaldus, an 8th-century hermit and missionary, and has been the patron saint of Nuremberg since then. 👷 Construction of the church began in 1225 and was completed in 1275.

Free visiting and souvenir shop inside. St. Sebaldus Church (St. Sebald, Sebalduskirche) is a medieval church in Nuremberg, Germany. Along with Frauenkirche (Our Lady's Church) and St. Lorenz, it is one of the most important churches of the city, and also one of the oldest. It is located at the Albrecht-Dürer-Platz, in front of the old city hall. It takes its name from Sebaldus, an 8th-century hermit missionary and patron saint of Nuremberg. It has been a Lutheran parish church since the Reformation.

Really pretty medieval church with a lot of art inside and out. This place should be conserved and kept beautiful forever. Unfortunately I have not seen any workers or security around the church at any moment of our visit, apart from the workers of the souvenir shop.
