Unfortunately, no reasonable information for parking spaces could be found. Paid 4 euros for an Africola during the break. Many guests thought this was an exorbitant price.

Great event location in the heart of a beautiful city in the middle of the Sauerland. Well-kept atmosphere, very good condition and investments are made every year. The environment inspires me and the centrality makes visiting the concert hall a relaxed experience.

We were there yesterday for an event hosted by Markus Krebs. A parking space was not available; There are far too few parking options for such a large hall. So we parked nearby. 35 minutes before the start of the event, the queue of visitors stretched a long way along the main street and across the parking lot to the small entrance door of the concert hall. We queued there for more than 20 minutes; luckily it didn't rain. It was very crowded in the foyer, so it was difficult to get through here either. The event started 10 minutes late because not all the guests had arrived yet. The hall had seating; Since all the chairs are on the same level, you always have the heads of tall people in front of you. The stage is elevated. The view from row 6 in the middle was okay, but ascending rows of seats are more comfortable. The stage design, sound and technology were okay. We went outside for a bit during the break. There was also a long queue on the way there and only a single ashtray in front of the door; But now there are hundreds of cigarette butts :-(. We each bought a Coke in the crowded foyer. A long line there too. You are kindly allowed to take your drink into the hall. Beer 3.00, soft drinks 4.00, deposit 0.50 each. When we got back to our place through the hustle and bustle, we discovered that the cola was no longer carbonated. The best before date was stated as “October 2022”. Excellent... Even after the event ended, there were long queues to the exit; An emergency exit door was also opened. Back in the foyer there was a long queue in front of the deposit return station. There I complained about the non-carbonated cola that had expired. People acted surprised. Not more. We liked the comedy event, but unfortunately not the venue. I don't want to have to clear the hall in an emergency because of the small entrance doors. We have never experienced parking, waiting times and visibility so bad and selling expired non-carbonated drinks for high prices is simply an outrage. We will no longer attend any events in the Olsberg concert hall.
