Kur- Und Festsaal Reviews

We were in a children's rehab with our son for 4 weeks in February/March 2024. (allergies, neurodermatitis, allergic asthma). We were very excited, maybe even tense, but we felt very comfortable from the first day! My son really enjoyed going to the hedgehog group every day (Lucia was great and the two got along very well!). He quickly made friends because you are always with the same people through the care and meal groups. When eating, you always have the same table for the entire stay. The food was great! Everyone can find something they like there. In the morning and evening as a buffet and at lunchtime you get your chosen food at the table. There are always desserts, soup and salads included. There are tea kitchens in the houses that you can use in between meals. The rooms are clean, spacious and nicely furnished, we had a lot of space. Fresh towels and 1x bed linen twice a week. Our son had swimming, gymnastics, relaxation. Once in a while there was Longa Day with many stations throughout the house. In the evening there were also voluntary program items such as cinema, magic show etc. We had a great time all round!!!! Boltenhagen is a very nice place and we went to the beach a lot! We parents took turns accompanying me (2/2 weeks) and even when I got sick, I was very looked after, treated and looked after really well, thank you again for that, not a given!!! We can highly recommend the clinic and can't say anything negative! Everyone is always nice, friendly and accommodating. Post was never a problem, there is a central mailbox and ordered packages can simply be picked up at reception.

Aaaaalso: First of all, a big thumbs up for the clinic, every single one of the staff, the kitchen, the whole organization, simply for everything! I am currently here with my two children (4.8) and our last week has begun, which makes us very sad. We are enjoying our time here to the fullest and simply feel right at home! Without exception, everyone is very friendly and helpful and made arriving and settling in super easy. I have the children with me as companions, but since I am insured with DAK Gesundheit, my children also receive water aerobics and exercise therapy. The care is a dream and both of them enjoy going there because there is an incredible amount on offer and activities (groups are divided into ages) (crafts, painting, playground, beach) and the carers are all so nice and take such great care of the individual children and clearly enjoy their job. At this point the warmest greetings to Franzi, Lisa and Micha! There are fixed meal groups in which you have a fixed place. We ended up in the first one, whose times we had to get used to at first, as we were scheduled for breakfast at 6:45 a.m., lunch at 11 a.m. and dinner at 4:45 p.m. Of course there is a lot of fuss all around because some people are in no way adaptable and have no understanding at all that the number of people in the clinic and all their applications have to be organized somehow... you have both at breakfast, as well as at dinner we had the opportunity to make bread for later and to pack up food and take it with us and we got along really well! The food itself is amazing, in the morning there are always rolls, muesli, cornflakes, cocoa, sausage, cheese and always something warm, like oatmeal or pudding soup. Likewise in the evening, there is also a small warm menu every evening, such as soup or leftovers from lunch. Lunch is always brilliant and very tasty and healthy, there hasn't been anything we didn't like and you always get seconds! The surroundings of the clinic and the outdoor area mean you won't get bored, there are endless playgrounds and of course you're only 2 minutes from the beach! I could go on like this forever... I also read the reviews here before our treatment and got a bit scared, completely unfounded, as I discovered! However, I now know which mothers/fathers write such reviews here, because I'm sure that one or two not-so-good reviews will be given here from our spa treatment, because as I said, there is a lot of complaining and there are people who ruin their own good time by complaining and complaining! Anyone reading this who still has the stay ahead of them: LOOK FORWARD TO IT! IT WILL BE AWESOME, BELIEVE ME!

We are currently in the Baltic Sea Clinic Boltenhagen. With no idea of a mother-child treatment and no expectations, we were warmly welcomed. The rooms are nicely furnished, clean and big enough (for the 2 of us). The food was very varied. Everything was tasty and we had nothing to complain about. Especially when you finally no longer have to worry about planning and preparing the meal :-) The staff is consistently friendly and competent. You get helpful tips everywhere and can enjoy the treatments that are prescribed to you. My son was in the bee group - many thanks to Ulrike, who accompanied him so well. Many kindergartens can learn a lesson here. In general, my child is completely relaxed here and enjoys the treatment, the surroundings and his time with mom. For us, the first time (together) in which we were able to really relax and let go. Many thanks to the clinic and the entire team.

We had our treatment in February and I can highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and supported wherever they could. The room was very nice and clean. The daily cleaning was an absolute luxury :) The food was extensive and varied. It always tasted good and we were full. It's also a great luxury not to have to worry about it. Of course, my 2-year-old daughter had a bit of difficulty looking after her at the beginning, but that's understandable (new environment, without dad, lots of new faces, etc.). In the first week I took some of the pressure off and even canceled an application. From the second week onwards things became more relaxed and we were able to recover well.

It was a very nice time, my son and I were here at the Baltic Sea Clinic at the end of January/February for a father/child treatment. I can't understand what some people write here in any way. It is NOT a hotel, it is a “clinical” facility! But it is very nice, clean and the staff is always friendly and tries to ensure that (almost) nothing is missing. Rooms are large, clean and completely sufficient. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always delicious. In the evening there is only bread, but it's not a hotel. Everyone was still full. I would do it again at any time, just maybe try to schedule it more in the spring or fall. It's still very busy at this time of year. We were lucky with the weather, everything was dry except for a few days.
