Siersburg Burg Concerts

The castle is situated on top of a hill, like most European castles that looks over multiple cities and a river. Parking is not available next to the castle so you will have walk a distance and up the hill to get there. You don't have to be a triathlete but you should be in at least moderate shape of you want to make it to the top off the hill in a reasonable amount of time. At the top you will find only the ruin and a spectacular view and nothing else. No services or tourist attractions are there other than the site itself. Midevoal festivals hare held there, check local calendars to get dates. You can find several restaurants in the surrounding cities that will fill whatever craving you are seeking. It's is well worth a visit if you are in the area, don't just drive by, get off the highway and stop in.

Good place to Chillout a bit but a little hard to get there

I live in this lovely town, and the place and the people of Siersburg are very nice and friendly.
