Schwerin Castle Concerts 2024

Schwerin, Germany, is home to a stunning castle. A 15-minute walk from the station. It is situated on an island in the major city lake "Lake Schwerin". The Castle is more than 150 years old. The gardens are spectacular. Excellent architecture. It's really wonderful. We got the train from the central station in Hamburg. We enjoyed going about the castle and its lovely gardens, which are immaculately kept. Beautiful palace nestled near to a lake. There's also a good cafe that sells drinks all day long. Inside the Castle, there is also a restaurant. Entry tickets can be purchased at the castle's ticket booth. It does include some interesting old designs objects and paintings. Had an excellent day. Do visit the palace. Best place to visit with kids so that the learn about the history. part of the castle is used as the state parliament, while the other part is open to the public. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth seeing. I was able to unwind in the large park while discovering new things everywhere. The castle tour was particularly interesting. It took nearly two hours to get from Hamburg Hbf Station to Schwerin Station. I believe it would look even better in the summer when the flower beds are still full. Recommended as a day excursion!

A stunning castle located in the German city of Schwerin. The gardens are amazing. Loved the architecture. Just magical. We took the train from Berlin and it was an easy walk from the train station to the castle. We loved walking around the castle and all the beautiful gardens that are extremely well maintained. A must see in Germany. Wonderful history.

Beautiful castle right next to a lake. Plenty of places to roam around and have a picnic outside the castle grounds. There's a nice cafe also which serves drinks throughout the day. The museum tickets can be booked directly at the counter inside the castle premises. It does feature some pretty cool artifacts and paintings. But, you can miss it though if you are in a hurry or are not a history buff.

Love this place, it's a big castle with lots of great features. The cafe is at the bottom. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Come on in, try to find free Parking and stay here for a long time

Beautiful castle surrounded by a lake. I would highly recommend that you pay for the guided tour as there are almost no signs explaining what you see in each room.
