It is a very beautiful and luxurious environment. You can see from the window that you are in the middle of the sea. Also, while drinking the famous drink of the region, you can see a beautiful view of the coastline and the traffic of ships.

A very enjoyable experience, sat by the window watching the sea whilst eating food. I had the Schnitzel which was delicious, 5 stars to the chef! The restaurant was very quiet, 4 tables in total, and the waiter was bit very attentive to us. He did not ask how our meals were, did not offer another drink when our was empty, and then when we wanted to pay it took 15 minutes of waiting. 4 stars because of the staff, but other than that it was fantastic

What a wonderful place? We came in early September and tried to time our arrival close to sunset. It was windy but fresh and despite some wedding reception in the restaurant we could still walk all the way to the end of the pier. The stairs down to the beach are steep and in the summer this is bound to be busy but I 100% recommend coming here if you can make it!

They cook food here. Now, non chef-types will find that statement as informative as a free subway newspaper. We insiders know what that means. There's a chef in this kitchen that sources ingredients mindfully, creates a menu for culinary ambition, utility, production efficiency and profit (usually in that order), then executes the production with a select team of professionals and students, as consistently as a professional brick layer. It shows in the classy cod dish, the on point plum tray cake, and a service team that take themselves seriously, where serious means friendly and helpful as well as efficient. Service is very slow. Quantities very low. Fish soup is salty thickened water. Flamkuchen is good. Fish and chips is 6 razor thin pieces of pollock with thick batter. Got scolded by the waitress as our dog spilt a little water on the woodworm eaten floor. Nice experience all round 🤣 Avoid this place. Typical by-the-sea tourist trap rip-off.
