Fantastic hotel! Located next to the train station, there is a subway station within a three-minute walk nearby, which is very convenient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. A kettle is provided, unfortunately, there is no complimentary water.

Due to a delayed train, I arrived late (23:30) on a Sunday night. At the reception, Yvette was super super nice!! She welcomed me warmly and helped me with anything I needed (check-in, wifi, what room, tips, food...). Regarding the room, it was very good as well (clean and quiet). 8min away from the main train station (Stuttgart hbf), it is convenient if you travel.

Fatal flaw. Great rooms and location but terrible sleep. The beds are the awful, hard German twins pushed together. Comforters are tiny and terrible. Room will not stay cool. Even after leaving the windows open the room heats itself back up. You can’t sleep with the windows open because it is on a very busy road. Doesn’t matter how nice a hotel is, it sucks when you can’t sleep. I asked the hotel desk for a fan and they didn’t understand why I would ask for one. There was a fan for sale at the mall for $115. I do not understand why European hotels don’t give you full control of the thermostat. This is not a problem in North America.

Excellent location near central train station, lovely rooms with long ceiling plus warming light function in bathroom, sadly sauna was broken on the day we checked in but staff (morning shift) were super friendly and compensated really well. Old school charm that is classic but not for modern seekers. Please note if you are disabled or have a stroller do not enter the hotel near the Main Street but from the back where the parking area is.

We were treated in the worst way by the manager Mohamed (I asked him for his last name, but he would not give it to me). The application Too good to go sais that it is 15 minutes to pick up the food. After 9 minutes of entering, he told us that it was enough and removed us in the rudest way. Also that during those 9 minutes he was watching us as if we were going to steal something. This is not the first time I have bought the breakfast pack at Arcotel through Too good to go, I always had very good experiences, but on this occasion I was treated in a derogatory, rude and totally discourteous manner. I want to clarify that I bought two packs for me and my friend and later another customer arrived and was also withdrawn along with us. I think the most pertinent thing to do is for the manager to offer a sincere apology and to put people in charge who understand the dynamics of saving packages, because it is a service that benefits both buyers and establishments and obviously the environment.
