Nice area but nothing remarkable. On the top - all parking spots are payable, even on weekend. Not best way to attract tourists.

Time-honored monastery walls, beautifully located by the lake... well-preserved architecture and medieval paintings in the church...

I was here at the fair in early December. A beautiful, small, German town, of which there are many in Germany, but each with its own face. The pride of this city is the monastery market with ancient buildings left over from the monastery. Everything is in excellent condition. Lake Schalze also contributes to the comfort of the city. What a beautiful place to walk.
