Odeon of Herodes Atticus Reviews

Not to be confused with the Theatre of Dionysus, which is a Greek theatre located further down the hill. The Roman theatre is built very steeply, and one can’t help but be awed when appreciating this beauty of an architectural design. It still stands tall in all its glory, having undergone some restoration. The theatre, while an ancient construction, is still used for performances in modern times, and one can only imagine how delightful an experience it must be to enjoy a performance here.

I love all the Greek mythology. I was so excited when I visited the Odeon of Heroes. I can't get a close look at what was in my dreams. The area has lots of traffic. The streets are very narrow with so many tour buses. The bus drivers are having a difficult time getting a parking spot too. The walkway has many steps go up hill. It was a good exercise for me. Some older people were just watch from a distance!

Part of Acropolis, same entry. Situated beneath the towering Acropolis, this ancient theater boasts a rich history that spans millennia. Today, it continues to serve as a venue for concerts, theatrical performances, and other cultural events, showcasing both its enduring relevance and timeless allure

Impressive and steep structure. You can walk up close and look at the theatre from the top with your Acropolis ticket. We didn't get inside, unfortunately, and I doubt it's even possible. But looking at it from the outside is plenty enough, you get to see all of it.

This greek theatre is simply amazing to look at and has great views over Athens. You pass it when climbing the slopes to the top. Simply amazing
