Hong Kong City Hall Concerts 2025

A great traditional place to dine especially at lunch time. Beware of the queue and waiting time. Great view of Kowloon and the harbour. Food was delicious and it was nostalgic to see the dim sum trolleys.

Excellent acoustics! The most important performance venue in Hong Kong, historically and maybe politically for many important events had been held here. As always the very best artistic performance could be found at the Hong Kong City Hall.

Not an attractive building. However, they put on good concerts on a regular basis & prices are reasonable. Easy to access if staying on HK Island & if staying on Kowloon side take the Star Ferry to Central. From the ferry terminal, it's a short walk.

I was on the 8th floor. The building looks old, and wash rooms not that clean, as one would expect from a City Hall. But the view is amazing.

Maxim City Hall was one of our favorite dim sum places for the past 20 years whenever we made our annual visit to Hong Kong. We were always excited and eager to introduce family and friends to what we considered the quintessential must do HK dim sum dining experience. We were eager for a return visit after a 3 year lapse due to COVID. However, our latest visit left us very much disappointed. While the quality of service was still as expected the quality of the food unfortunately no longer met our expectations for top notch HK dim sum. Most of the items we ordered were served warm to cool and seemed not freshly made. Overall, it was a less than memorable dining experience, especially for the price paid. Going forward, we'll likely be seeking alternative dim sum dining options for our next HK visit.
