Landmark Hotel Concerts 2025

My wife and I were married quietly earlier in the year and stayed in this hotel on our wedding night. So impressed with everything. The room was beautiful with a magnificent view of the riverbank. Really friendly and attentive staff, great food and drink and a unique and beautiful location right on the Shannon and still in the heart of the town. Lots to do in the nearby, plenty of great places to eat and drink all within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommended. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

Did not stay the night but had roast lunch. Lovely venue, friendly staff. Food was excellent

Had a wonderful experience from start to finish Carol was so helpful on reception and couldn't do more for us,Dinner was beautiful and highly recommended the expresso Martini cocktails, Will definitely be back.

Had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch in the Boardwalk Cafe. Prompt and efficient service; no issues with a couple of menu alterations; tasty, sizeable portions. Pay & Display parking at the back of the hotel.

The Landmark had a lovely cosy & welcoming atrium/entrance lobby, with a gorgeous christmas tree. Although, we noted that the Reception desk was unmanned at times. Our dinner & cocktails were tasty, I recommend the beef noodle salad. The chicken caeser was good too. However, initially the waitress brought the incorrect cocktail to us, but recified the issue when we brought it to their attention. Our breakfast experience was interesting. We felt a little like an inconvenience to the staff. On one of the days, the one member of waiting staff who was running the front of house breakfast service entirely on their own, disappeared for around 15 mins after taking our order. As a result the chef brought our hot food out, because it was ready and, by his own admission, even he had no idea where the waiting staff member had gone. This meant that we had our hot food in front of us for some time before the waiting staff finally returned and brought us our hot drinks and toast. Furthermore, on the first day, the wrong breakfast was brought out for us, and instead of taking it away and replacing the food, they just bought out the extra parts that we originally ordered, leaving the parts that we hadn't ordered on the plate. Conversely, the breakfast food was lovely. The fry up, pancakes and porridge were all very tasty. The tea & coffee were lovely too. Furthermore, we didn’t have to book a time for breakfast, which was great because it gave us more flexibility. The housekeeping staff were friendly and polite each time we passed them in the corridors, and they serviced the rooms well, although we noted persistent dust on the bedside tables in the room. The bedroom was fairly smart and tidy, with good tea & coffee making facilites. However, there were no sockets on the side of the room with the beds, which was a little inconvenient for plugging in electronics. There was a good selection of toiletries available in the bathroom, with a great high pressured shower, although there was some mould visable around the shower. The room had a lovely view of the Shannon, and the bed was very comfortable.
