Riverside Park Hotel Concerts 2025

We visited this hotel to spend a weekend to chill between girlfriends. We found the location to be awesome with a beautiful river walk by the side. The food is decent with good options. The leisure centre is basic and decent - don’t have very high hopes. The rejuvenation center is good. The rooms and hotel itself feels a bit old and barely maintained in terms of lighting, ambiance and freshness. The service was only okay as we managed to get only one room service through our stay because there was a wedding happening at the venue that weekend and seemed like the staff was overloaded and other guests had to go downstairs for everything. So maybe just a timing thing, but you never know when people are getting married do you 🙂! Overall we enjoyed and had fun between ourselves but this is an honest view of the hotel. Would I go here again, only if I can’t find something more modern and fresh (which seems unlikely). Value for money - not so much. Hope this helps.

I recently organised a 1970 School Reunion in Riverside Park . From my very first meeting with staff to choose date etc I can honestly say that the help they gave me was wonderful. A few weeks before the reunion date I met with Andrea Jordan and she discussed with me a few things that I hadn't thought of - not least of which was mobility. We were offered our own function room with bar service and toilet facilities. No steps or stairs. As it turned out some people did indeed have mobility issues. There was a set menu ( at a very competitive price) which gave everyone a choice. It was very tasty and well presented. Table and bar service as delivered with a smile and a very positive demeanour. Everybody had a great time getting to know one another again and this was I believe helped in no small way by how the Hotel and Staff worked with us to provide a great experience. I can honestly say that if you are having any kind of a get together, have it at Riverside Park - you won't be disappointed

Booked last minute night away for myself , partner and our 4 month old baby. I was so impressed with the service from greeting to departure every staff member we interacted with added to our experience super friendly, helpful and nice people. Rachel is reception checked us in and helped us during our stay. We ate twice (dinner on first night and lunch next day ) in the Prom bar and were served by Amber (blonde young lady) . Catherine the bar supervisor helped us on second day with drinks , lunch and got me box to take my sandwich home as baby needed to be fed. Lady in the leisure centre (didn’t get her name) gave us a loan of a baby float for our daughter to use in the pool. Allowed us to get a picture while no other guests were around as it was daughters first time in a pool properly.

Had an amazing stay here Friday and Saturday night. The food was excellent in the bar and the wait staff were amazing, very friendly and quick service. We have a (minor) issue in our room with an odd noise and flagged with the staff just so they knew. The lovely manager came out and spoke to us and insisted on us moving to another room so we didn't have to hear it. The room we were moved to was an upgrade to a couples deluxe room which was absolutely gorgeous for no extra charge and we got give a gift voucher for a free carvery. The staff at the reception desk were very nice aswell. Cant fault our stay at all, we'll definitely return in the future.

Was here for a two night stay with my wife. From checking in to leaving it was a wonderful experience. Rooms are spotless and have tea making facilities. Breakfast is very tasty and a great selection and the bonus is having it served at your table. All staff are efficient and very polite and friendly. Food in the bar is excellent the chicken burger is fabulous. Been here many times and will definitely be back again soon I hope.. Martin and Liz Lyons.
