We opted for the upgrade to the family suite which was a lovely room upon arrival and a nice amount of space for 2 adults and 2 young children however there was no hot water in the taps/bath for the duration of our stay. There was a double sink in the bathroom and one of the hot taps didn’t work at all. A maintenance guy did come and check this out on our 2nd day after we rang reception and agreed there was an issue with the bath, he managed to get the shower to hot water after a good few minutes of letting water run. We didn’t hear anything back after this. The next morning however there was no hot water in the shower and we had to settle for a little warmer than cold. Some of the stations on the telly had signal issues so were unwatchable. Overall, wasn’t really worth the €70 upgrade. The service in the bar was a little slow especially when waiting on food, again with 2 small children and being a child friendly hotel, would have expected this to be a lot more efficient. Breakfast was really nice and staff were friendly. A little annoying that we had to pay €15 extra to use the swimming pool considering we paid for an upgrade. Also only 1 lift working so there was a bit of a wait each time Overall was nice stay with some things that let it down. Good location

The room could have been cleaner. It was noisy when other guests came back to their room around 3 am, seals on the door could be checked. The food was nice, the bar area was good. Loads of taxies to get in and out of the city

Hotel was nice, lovely view from the room, but the food was awful, I only had a ceaser salad but the one large chicken breast on top was dry and hard and it came with no ceaser salad dressing, I had to ask for some. My friend had a chicken curry and said the same thing the chicken was hard.

the room was uncleaned, the floors were very badly cleaned as well and smelt bad and as the bathrooms, there was an awful massive stain in the bath tub and the bathroom also didn’t lock as a women who travel with her family i do not feel safe. The television had terrible quality and a small amount of choices to watch but the wifi was decent. The customer service was good but could use some work but as the food is mediocre while the nachos were horrid!! and also found a stain on my glass cup, which was very unpleasant but the wine was good. Don’t recommend but that’s my own opinion.

We booked a family package and we are absolutely surprised that we got a suite! The beds were very comfortable and the toilet was huge. That is the best experience we had in an Irish hotel. Sadly, when we checked in the toilet lights were not working. Someone came to have a look and all he can do is inform the reception. We had the buffet breakfast and it was good to get the kids going for the day. We also got a day pass to the leisure centre that's a 2 mins drive up the hill. There's a process of making an appointment to use the pool. Once the formalities are done, the experience and facilities in the pool was great. The leisure centre is clean too.
