Saint Nicholas' Collegiate Church Reviews

I popped in for a short visit on a Tuesday just after midday. This is the hidden gem of Galway. What an amazing place!! The history is fascinating including the connection with Christopher Columbus and Oliver Cromwell. Ticket prices are very affordable. The guides Hendrick and Jack were so kind and welcoming as was the lady at the Welcome Desk whose name I’ve forgotten. This is a must see for anyone visiting Galway!

The church was beautiful and worth a visit. There’s a €5 admission fee (which… sure) and right after we handed the cash over, the guy at the front told us the church would be closing in 15 minutes. Maybe let us know before we pay? And rest assured at 15 minutes on the dot he was ushering us out the door. There was organist though and his playing was top notch.

Most enjoyable evening. Good music and well presented . One or two numbers a little over embellished. But an enjoyable experience.

Taylor Swift by candle light in Galway was magical. The musicians were amazing. My 10 year old daughter loved it too, she wants to go again, as do I. if I could give more stars I certainly would.

Excellent concert. String Quartet were amazing. Definitely worth going to see these musicians in action so I did. Twice on same evening.
