Piazza Ariostea Concerts 2025

A historic and festive place for the people of Ferrara: it hosts the racecourse, the European market and other activities. Especially around this time, it's not unusual to find someone spreading out a cloth to read, have a picnic, or play with the kids. Truly a welcoming and functional square.

Super fun! We cycled around the piazza with our rented bikes! It was a lot of fun! We even had a race!

THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR TO VISIT THE PIAZZA IS PALIO DAY. FOUR MANIC RACES, 2 FOOT RACES (BOYS,GIRLS), A HORSE RACE, AND THE HILARIOUS RACE OF THE DONKEYS. THE LOCALS ALL WEAR THE COLOURS OF THEIR CITY SECTOR MAKING THE DAY A BRIGHT AND EVENTFUL DAY. THE LOCALS ARE VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS DAY AND OFTEN SET OFF SMOKE FLARES. SUCH FUN!

Interesting layout like as Circus Maximus makes me wonder if they ever make any races around the track, with some Cafes and ice cream shops

Little park easy to reach from the city centre on foot. You can hang with your friend, walk, go by skate or bike or just sit and enjoy this cute lil green space
