Viale del Visarno, 14, 50144 Firenze FI, Italy
Nice place for concert with nice vibe but not very practical. Difficult to find a parking spot, difficult to gen in and out and the ground is not inclined towards the stage (it's a hippodrome) so less visibility from a distance especially if you are short.

Went to see Greenday and Weezer on the first weekend of Firenze Rocks! Overall an amazing show but the management of the entire thing could have been better. First off they take water bottles at the gate before you come in (expected for a concert), however when you buy a new bottle they take the bottle cap so you can’t close it. This is a problem when it is 100 degrees and the Pit is litterly steaming and there is no water in sight. In addition the crowd control is not great in the pit as the security is at face level with the front row so they can’t see if anyone is falling or in trouble. The pit seems to be a new addition to the festival so they have yet to work out the kinks. Overall this would have spelled trouble with a heavier band and just a bit more crowd movement. However the lineup is great and the sound is awesome!!!

Here for firenze rocks concert. 4 nights. Staff great, no security, no police, no problems... wish it was the same back in blighty.. usual pish though getting beer and food with a token system.. buy in multiple of 5's. But stalls take 6 or 8 at a time so you have to spend extra ...fly buggers.. but it's what it is.. see you next year..
Been here twice for the Firenze Rocks Festival in 2017 to see Eddie Vedder, and again a couple weeks ago to see Imagine Dragons. First of: both concerts were wicked, thanks to how amazing these artists are. However, if the Eddie Vedder concert (despite being the very first edition of the festival) was very well organised, scenographic, perfect audio, perfect view, with only some inefficiency in the management of the token exchange, this year I found it very much worse. Food was not as good, toilet services were embarrassing, the audio was ridiculous especially because it was impossible to stand front stage as they built a ridiculously big control panel in the middle of the field so everybody had to sand on the sides. Obviously impossible to see anything. In addition they added the PIT, to keep everyone else a little further from the stage who is not albe to pay for overprice tickets. This being said, the lineup is always actually good, so good for them.(photos dated back to 2017, except for the one packed with people)

Great place for concerts. The only problematic thing is when everything is ending and you stay in a row like 1h to get out.. They gave to find solutions for evacuation otherwise is a pity.
