Parco Centrale - Arena Spettacoli Concerts

The Central Park is a green area on the outskirts of the city of Follonica. Events and shows take place here and, in the market area, the weekly market takes place every Friday morning, between 8.00 and 13.00, with dozens of stalls where it is possible to buy everything: from clothing to food, from housewares to typical local products.

I often go to this park, even with my dog. I recommend everyone to carve out some time, and take a nice walk every now and then!

It is a place where shows take place especially in summer and the city market on Fridays. In the central park there are car, coach and disabled parking spaces. There are also public toilets, which are also accessible

In this area of ​​Follonica there was previously the Ippodromo dei Pini - a historical attraction for the Follonica residents and tourists. They brought the Friday market to this area with a parking lot that is a disaster, and an "entertainment" area that is active a few times a year. And the Hippodrome taken out of the city into the fields failed. A real shame...

I was in this park with the "Giacomo Puccini" musical group from Vezzano Ligure (SP) on the occasion of the tenth band gathering in Follonica (GR). The arena that was built is very impressive and can accommodate many people. There is no shortage of parking around and it is a great place where you can relax and spend some time outdoors.
