Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle Concerts 2024

I really liked the koi carps. The whole experience is worth trying. This place is especially interesting for people interested in photography and/or flora.

✨✨✨Such a lovely jewel of a place …located in a region… that is itself a jewel…yes indeed…SOUTH TYROL IS SO LOVELY…I just loved being here…hiked every day till was ready to drop …then after a soak in the local mineral baths…gorged on the goodies in various amazing eateries…that seemed to be pretty much everywhere one looked …really recommend a getaway to this region …it’s def BELLISIMO !!!✨✨✨

My goodness! An absolutely fabulous, botanical experience! A beautifully crafted and well planned spectacle of botanical pleasure. A treat for the entire family. Plan to spend an entire day to slowly soak in every inch of this well thought out master piece.

Most recommended to go here. Such beautiful gardens and breathtaking view (should you climb all the way up to the observation deck.) At the top beautiful parrots in an Aviary and below Alpaca's, Yak's, Bunnies and chickens. Nice restaurant (a bit pricey), a maze garden, a kids play area etc... Parking a bit difficult, but if you just stand in line for parking, you will eventually get a spot. 🙂 Family ticket for 2 Adults and kid was 36 euros and we stayed over 4 hrs. Totally worth it! 🤗

One of the most beautiful places on Earth imho. The gardens are immense and so full of plants and trees and flowers that the traditional botanical gardens of N Europe (Kew, Leiden) pale in comparison. The main exhibit is the nymph pond, a natural amphitheater full of greenery and with a concert island in the middle. Summer evenings there are magical. What makes the park even better is the views around Meran and to the mountains around the city. Access is not easy for people who don't walk or climb well. You can borrow an electric wheelchair but you need to book that ahead. Parking is very limited for handicapped people too. This place truly merits a voyage, and at least 3-4 hrs of your time. You can eat well and affordably here too.
