This beautiful church, completed in 1876, is known for its vibrant mosaics and stained glass, crafted by artists from across Europe. The interior, particularly the apse mosaic of Jesus Christ and the scenes from the New Testament, radiates color and detail, creating a warm and inviting spiritual environment. St. Paul Within the Walls (Chiesa Di San Paola Entro Le Mura) is an Anglican church along Via National. There are English and Spanish Sunday Services are held each week. Check the church websites for details. Historically, this was the first non-Catholic church built in Rome after the Unification of Italy. Constructed between 1873 and 1880 in Neo-Gothic and Neo-Romanesque style, St. Paul features a striped brick and stone patterned exterior, quite unique for Rome and reminds of Westminster Cathedral in London. The interior features a central nave with barrel vault with a panel pattern and you will see a similar striped pattern on the nave walls, matching what the exterior facade of the building. There are nice stained glass window panes and a outstanding apse mosaic that is well worth making time to view. The little courtyard garden just before the church entrance is rather nice and peaceful. You'll find religious-themed contemporary sculptures amongst the grounds as well.

The church is a modern structure, with mosaics inside. What is special with this church is that concerts and Operas are held in it nightly per program.
