You can buy tickets there and then. This is the most relaxed football stadium tour I have done. The guide speaks in Italian and English, she doesn't go into any depth other than saying 'here is the Roma changing rooms'. But it works. You go to all 3 changing rooms, walk down the tunnel and spend a good amount of time at pitch side and then up in the stands. You don't feel rushed when you're on the pitch. The whole tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and once you buy your tickets you wait in that same area until the start time. Sidenote - we walked past the tennis stadium and there was an entrance to the staircase which was open and we walked up and had a fantastic view of the stadium. If you see it's open, walk in!

Amazing stadium with a great atmosphere! Went here for the 6 nations England vs Italy for the second time, was not disappointed, seats were amazing. Around the stadium is a good amount of beer stands and bars as well as an array of different food stands. There are also activities to participate in that are child friendly. It is a long walk to and from the stadium from the main areas in town so I would recommend public trams, bikes or scooters to make the journey quicker and easier on the legs.

I went here recently to see Roma vs Torino. The stadium is huge and generates a great atmosphere. I was seated in Monte Mario Centrale which are the more expensive seats which offer an amazing view of the pitch. The Roma fans are good skins that really get behind their team. I'm not a fan of the running track and if you're in parts of upper tier your view of pitch might be poor. A great experience though + would recommend 👍

Went to see the match between Rome and real betis from Spain in the Europa League. The stadium and its surroundings is very big and there is a lot of walking distance between the main Street and the entrance gate and from the gates to the entrance to the stands. There is no Metro connecting to the stadium only by buses and on game days it can get very crowded.

Went here to see the six nations rugby match between England and Italy. The facility definitely shows its age and could use a paint job. They also are lacking in restrooms. They did have Porta Johns outside our gates on the north side I believe. Regardless of that there were still lines. These lines did seem to move relatively quickly, though. However, upon walking up to the stadium, there is a men and women’s restroom off to the right. This being our first time here we did not know about the porta John’s on the other side of the stadium. This line was very long for both the men and women. Very few stalls/urinals inside. Also the lines to get beer and food inside were ridiculous and took at least half an hour. Thankfully the game was good and the day was sunny.
