Splendid facility, both fields with grass, and a raised grandstand for the main field. The clubhouse is beautiful. Unfortunately, the built-in bathrooms are still missing, but they will certainly arrive soon. Congratulations to the Rugby San Benedetto club!

The Nelson Mandela rugby field in San Benedetto del Tronto is a sports facility located in via dei Fiori, about 2 kilometers from the city centre. The camp was inaugurated in 2014 and is named after the South African leader Nelson Mandela, as a sign of respect and admiration for his fight for justice and equality. The field is of standard size, with a length of 100 meters and a width of 70 meters. The playing surface is natural grass, well cared for and in excellent condition. The field is equipped with brand new stands designed to hold more than 500 spectators, a perimeter fence and a lighting system. The pitch is used by the local rugby team, A.S. Rugby San Benedetto del Tronto, which plays in Serie B. The pitch is also available for use by other sports clubs and associations.

Sports facility dedicated to Rugby... one of the best at regional level if not even in central Italy. The atmosphere you breathe is engaging, joyful and playful and at the same time imbued with sporting values ​​and human solidarity... you even eat divinely!
