Our second time visiting Teatro Antico. This time it was much cooler so we were able to stay longer and enjoy the amazing views! I highly recommend booking online and skipping the queues. Even at 8.50 there was a queue forming. We simply showed our QR codes on a phone without having to line up at the ticket booth

Beautiful experience and definitely a must when in Taormina. Entrance is 12,-€ p.p and we spend half a day discovering the place. There is the possibility to get an aufio guide but we decided to do our own tour. At the end of the tour you can enjoy a coffee and arancina with a breathtaking view

It's a beautiful ancient theater with great views from the top. Crowds in town can be left behind. If you want some peace, come here!

If you're visiting Taormina you need to see the Teatro Antico di Taormina. We went early to avoid the crowds but if you're going in winter don't worry about this as there were very crowds. The views are astounding and you can see Mount Etna in the distance. As you sit in the seats you can't help but feel transported to a different time and you can't help but think what life, and the shows/play, were like back then. Simply amazing.
