Ca' Sagredo Concerts 2024

WARNING: This is not a 5 star hotel. It is listed as a 5 star hotel in many places but I would honestly give it a 2 star rating. The staff were friendly. It is located in Venice which is a very old world city. And its prices are sometimes low and reasonable value. But, as it is listed as a 5 star hotel many booking websites highly inflate the price and I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake my travel agent did. When I asked the management upon check-in to cancel they informed me I could with a late cancellation fee of 100% 🤦 I see the other reviews here and am honestly bewildered at how they're giving it high reviews (see the photos I have attached). My guess is they are fake reviews. The decor is very aged and worn, not a dollar has been spent on it for many many years being very dark internally with a stale and musty smell in the common areas and rooms.

Really liked the hotel interior. We had a junior suite, which was beautiful. If the room was smaller, maybe I would have felt differently. The service is near to non existent, it seems like the hotel is on a budget and they don’t even give bottled water. Sometimes the concierge is not present and the hotel seems understaffed. Also, the lobby could use some revamp/renovation, such a beautiful building that gets carried away by its lobby. We spent most of the time touring Venice so the setup was amazing, however if you’re looking to stay in a complete hotel and expect more from the service, them this is not a good option. Also, the way to go here is with the junior suite, which really makes it feel like a 5 star hotel. I think this hotel has so much potential under a different management.

This is by no means a 5 star hotel. I have been totally mislead by this rating. The hotel is old a tired with dirty worn carpets and upholstery. Poor breakfast that cost me €44, where they neglected to bring fruit juice, and the cooked breakfast lol. I was charged €10 euro for a tiny bag of low grade crisps, €10 tiny bag of nuts which were off. Don’t be fooled into booking this is my advice

spent 3 nights here in Nov 2023. Amazing interior to hotel, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and friendly service. if had to chose what made hotel memorable would be the amazing interior, painted ceilings and walls, so grand. also good location. only negatives would be no kettle in room and WiFi hit and miss for some in our group.

A charming true Venetian building that offers style and attentive service that is gracious yet unpretentious. Its location is well situated for readily getting to various points in Venice by walking, vaporetto, water taxi, etc.
