Yomiuri Hall Concerts 2024

I went for the 2022 Tokyo international film festival, was surprised to discover this place, it's a good hall. I took one star for two reasons: 1) the entrance is quite hard to figure out. It is in the same building as a Big Camera 2) the seats are quite small. The event wasn't crowded, but probably it would be very hard to stay squished for one hour or more. In general, it's a good hall. Would go again for other events.

This is probably the worst lunch I had in Tokyo. Having to pay over ¥50,000 for lunch, we have to observe the Chef who is having a flu, repeatedly wipe his nose with his hand, picking his nose and handled the food directly without washing his hands. On top of that the food is over priced and taste mediocre. I do not recommend this place at all especially there is so many other good kaiseki in Tokyo. Never again!!

BIC Camera is equivalent to a Best Buy back home except they have a lot more stuff. If you're a photographer looking to stock up on some lenses, this is a great place to go. At the time of this writing, the exchange rate from Yen to USD is 122 to 1. You can get a lot of lenses at deep discount and if you use a visa card they give you an additional 6% off. Make sure you have your passport to get it tax free. Lastly, make sure to check customs laws to see how much you may owe when you return back stateside. The agent we spoke with said $800 is the amount before duties get levied, but please check for yourself.

This was an unique experience in Tokyo. We attended only a single show, standing only for about 30 minutes but we actually sat down. It was all in Japanese but very interesting.

This place is good for electronic shopping and gadgets. One can avoid taxes by showing and submitting the passport copy. Alcohol shops is also there and I guess at top floor
