Hotel New Otani Hakata Concerts 2024

To be honest this is not the most pleasent hotel to live in for a long time because the rooms are extremely outdated and needs improving in my opinion the newest part of the rooms were the toilets. The location is not bad nor good the location is extremely distanced from Hakata station aka the largest shopping centre in fukuoka in my opinion. The restaurant food were so cold. In summary the staff were kind but the hotel it self was too classic and needs to be more modern in the future years and the price for rooms are extremely overpriced due to the old rooms.

A classic full-service hotel with lots of dining options. Room rates are reasonable and the service is impeccable. The rooms have been renovated and are quite spacious by Japanese standard. The hotel is still hanging on to a relic of the last century -- a metal key attached to a plastic keychain with the room number printed on it, which is rather amusing even though it could present a possible security risk. Across the street is the Watanabe-Dori Station where you can take the Nanakuma Subway Line to Tenjin, Canal City (Kushida Shrine) and Hakata in no time.

Decent location with many things around… like that there is free bath powder , skincare set given. Their bathroom is my fav. Aircon could be stronger. Not very sound proof. For breakfast, 2 options, one is Japanese cuisine , the other is buffet and the variety is little .

The facilities were impeccably maintained, leaving no room for complaint. Our accommodations were flawless, complete with hot water, substantial pressure, and meticulous cleaning services. Every corner of the hotel, from the diverse restaurants and cafés to the laundry and housekeeping services, showcased top-tier excellence. As Americans, we are accustomed to a certain standard of service, yet the hospitality extended to us here surpassed our expectations, and indeed, American service standards, by a substantial margin. The hotel staff’s thoughtful gestures, particularly the beautifully crafted gift presented to my mother at the restaurant, did not go unnoticed. The culinary delights, ranging from exceptional Chinese cuisine to traditionally served Japanese dishes, were a feast for the senses, complemented by stunning views from the top-floor Japanese restaurant. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the unparalleled level of service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, demonstrating kindness and a willingness to help at every turn. This, above all, has instilled in us a fervent desire to return in the near future. In summary, our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel provided a perfect backdrop to our celebration, leaving us with cherished memories and a profound appreciation for the genuine hospitality that is the hallmark of this wonderful country.

Staff at this hotel, no matter it’s the front desk or staff in the breakfast area, barely speaks English, not even the most simple and necessary ones. Host at the Japanese breakfast can’t even understand “how long is the wait”. Unless you speak Japanese, try to find other hotel if you don’t want to experience the frustration during simple communication.
