Located on the east side of Hanyu City, about 15 minutes walk from Hanyu Station, there are two large parking lots. Although the facility is old, the acoustics 🎶 are excellent compared to other halls of the same size 😁⤴️⤴️

It's a little old, so half of the toilets are Japanese-style, but I think it's easy to see from both the small and large halls.

A multipurpose hall located in Hanyu City. I have used them several times for my two daughters' brass band competitions. The hall itself is average, but the building itself is old, and it is undeniable that the building and equipment have deteriorated over time (seats creaked, etc.). In addition, the construction of the wash basin is particularly old, and the washroom does not have automatic water discharging, but rather a faucet type. Also, perhaps the biggest problem is that the entrance to the men's restroom and the exit to the women's restroom (and vice versa) are shared, with a note saying "to reduce congestion." Because of this, women who have come out of the toilet often run into collisions with men who are trying to enter the toilet...I think it is better to improve this issue as soon as possible.

It is a large-scale facility that opened on January 14, 1984, with two halls: large (standard 1286 seats) and small (standard 400 seats). Adjacent to it is the Hanyu City Library and local museum. If you're driving, there are two large parking lots, which is convenient, but if you're coming by train, it's about a 20-minute walk from the nearest Hanyu Station (Tobu Railway Isesaki Line and Chichibu Railway Main Line). The Hanyu City Welfare Bus runs infrequently, so if you are in a hurry, it is best to take a taxi. The road surface of the west side parking lot is dirt, so it gets muddy when it rains, which is a problem.If it rains heavily, it gets submerged. The parking lot across the prefectural road is unpaved and the road surface is in good condition, but it is a priority parking lot for buses. In March 2011, the area experienced a major earthquake that recorded a seismic intensity of 5 or higher, but the inside of the hall was slightly damaged and the front plaza was uneven due to liquefaction, but it has been repaired. Personally, I went to see the late Hibari Misora's recital held at a private performance in the year the company opened, a play party at my child's nursery school, a chorus contest at my junior high school, and a presentation by my high school brass band club, and I went on stage to greet parents. It's a place I have fond memories of visiting (I bought secret shoes just for this lol). (Rumor has it that one person died in a fall accident during construction, and there is a memorial tower somewhere.)
