International Conference Center Hiroshima - The Phoenix Hall Concerts 2024

It was May 3, 1982. Before the International Conference Center opened, it looked like a green park, and a young Naoko Kawai was singing on the outdoor stage sponsored by RCC.

I visited for a classical concert. I watched it from the center of the front row, and it was really nice to feel surrounded by it. The seats are hard and not very comfortable. The toilet was also dark.

On Saturday, November 11, 2023, there was a concert by Fumiaki Miura and Hiroko Symphony Orchestra, and I went there for the first time in a while. The seats are located in the back of the middle of the first floor and are at the same height as the stage. The pieces included Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and Berlioz's Symphony Fantastique. Besides, the sound was good and it was refreshing. Miura-san's performance was wonderful. Bravo man also appeared. As for Berlioz, I have no comment. I usually only listen to other halls, but this hall had good bass and midrange sounds, although it may depend on the seats. I'm talking about comparing it to two holes right near Hiroshima. I wanted to listen to more symphonies and concertos in this hall. The sound in other halls is muddy and I don't like it. I would also like to see a concert hall in Hiroshima. Mayor of Hiroshima! I'm looking forward to going to Riedenrose's Zimmermann concert in Fukuyama next time.

The fee for using the hall is high, but international conferences are also held 🙏 If you register your group at the Peace Culture Center on the 3rd floor, you can use the conference room on the 3rd floor and the printing room for volunteers for free 🙏 Printing paper is at actual cost ( *^_^*)namo🙏

I used it with my 0 year old child. The seats were spacious even when I was watching the theater on my knees. I was in the 12th row on the first floor, and I was able to enjoy the stage with ease. The problem is that there is no nursing room that looks like a nursing room. As instructed in the building, I was allowed to use the nursing room (similar to a small conference room) in the office. The office staff were very kind.
