Sound Crue Concerts 2024

Cool little venue, can pay for a drink with a ticket. Really enjoyed the show! Make sure to call or email for ticket availability depending on the website. Smoking lounge is in the lobby, but didn’t smell in the concert area

Good times at Sound Crue. Known as a "Live house" in the local lingo, this is where you can hear live music from an assortment of bands from near and far at reasonable prices. My favorite performers of the night? Glow and the Forest from Tokyo. Be aware that smoking is everywhere there so if you don't like tobacco smoke, you might want to avoid this bar.

The stage has a decent height, and I appreciate that the floor and bar space are separate. However, I was disappointed that the staff at the drink counter were so unfriendly (lol).

Get off at Odori Subway Station, take the underground walkway towards Bus Center-mae Station, and go out from Exit 5. Up the stairs was the reception, restroom, and smoking corner. The hall goes up a few more stairs. It's not wide, but I think it's easy to see without anything blocking it. All standing. I got there early, so I was able to sit down, drink my beer first, and put my jacket in the space on the left. In winter, there is no place to leave your jacket, and there are only a few pipe chairs on either side, so it might be useful to have a bag to put your jacket in.

Due to the structure of the building, jumping is prohibited; it is vertically long, and the front section is about the size of nine slender people. There are no coin lockers, so I had to put my jacket in a large bag and leave it on the floor near my feet, or leave it in the locker at the factory.
