Blues Alley Japan Reviews

All about the music! Jazz in Japan. I flew from America to check it out. And was far from disappointed. I was impressed. Small venues are the place for it. Juna and friends got it done. I will be back.

Great jazz venue in Tokyo’s Meguro district (Miles Davis played here in his day). The food is quite good and there’s a reasonable selection of drinks.

Excellent music venue with fabulous music. Extremely expensive drinks however and a long queue for paying at the end.

🌸Kobayashi Kaori Hanamiライブ@Meguro Blues Alley Japan 😍One of the important things to do in Tokyo this time is to buy tickets for a performance by the legendary Saxophone player "Kobayashi Kaori" at Blues Alley, a large venue with more than 100 people in Meguro District... 😍I learned a valuable lesson tonight! The evening was divided into two sections, each section was 50 minutes long, and five weapons were used, including Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone and Flute; the performances were all The pop music route, although it is not my favorite jazz, the performance is also very exciting😙 😍Kobayashi Kaori became famous in the Saxophone industry very early. She has been debuting for 19 years this year. In recent years, she has become a lecturer at the "Sezu Gakuen Music University" and toured with the singer "Matsutoya Yumi". In her early years, she sang "New Love" ", a song "Nothing's gonna change my love for you" is fascinating 🤔The cost of Live tickets + meals is a bit high, so a budget of around ¥10,000 per person would be more suitable.
