Mitaka City Arts Centre - Very nice and beautiful concert hall with more than 600 seats and wonderful acoustics. Also contains a little play house, four rehearsal rooms (one large studio, one middle studio with big mirrors and barres, and two practice rooms), and a couple of small exhibition halls, and there conference rooms (also quite small). I would give five stars if there were either good reception or wi-fi in the rehearsal room floor which is located on the second basement level.

It's about a 15 minute walk from the station (there's also a bus service), but I think it's a beautiful hall. Classical concerts and piano recitals are often held in the large hall, while rakugo performances and plays are often held in the smaller hall. I've only used the small hall, but I think it's easy to understand because the row alphabet and seat numbers are displayed large on the aisle side. The return bus timetable information is also posted, which is very helpful.

This is a complex facility that includes Mitaka City's hall, etc. It's about a 15 minute walk from the station. There are Wind Hall (large hall), Star Hall (small hall), and other conference rooms. Star Hall is a 250-seat proscenium-style hall (a format with a stage) for theatrical performances. The Wind Hall is a shoebox-shaped hall (a rectangular parallelepiped with an orchestra stage in the corner) for classical music, and has a seating capacity of about 600 people. Because the usage fee is low, it is often used at Amaoke concerts. I went to hear a concert at the Hall of the Wind, so this review will be a review of the Hall of the Wind. It's not a very large hall, but the space above the orchestra stage is as high as the ceiling of the hall, so I think it's a nice hall with natural sound. There are seats on the 1st and 2nd floors, but there are only a few seats on the 2nd floor, so most of the seats are on the 1st floor. The orchestra stage is located at a higher position than the seats, and the seats in the hall are not very high even on the rear seats and are relatively flat, so you will feel like you are looking up at the orchestra somewhat. The seats are shifted from front to back by half a seat to the left and right, so you don't have to worry about people sitting in all the seats. It has a simple interior with a wood theme. The seats are also comfortable. The only inconvenience is that although the lobby of the entire facility is large, there are not many chairs, and the toilet is only in the common lobby, so you have to go outside the hall.
