Okayama Performing Arts Theatre Harenowa - Grand Theatre Concerts 2024

The grand opening was held in September 2023 at a theater located in Kita Ward, Okayama City. In addition to having three theaters (large, medium, and small), it is the largest theater in Chugoku and Shikoku, with an art salon and 11 practice rooms based on the concept of a creative theater that creates culture and art. I visited for the first time because there was a comedy live performance by Hayasaka Sales. It's a bit far from Okayama Station, so I took the tram, but it seems like the walking distance is almost the same whether you take the Higashiyama Line or the Seikibashi Line. A Higashiyama Line train just arrived, so I got on it, but it was so packed that I couldn't get on, so I think it would be a good idea to leave some time for it. I arrived at the theater in about 5 minutes on foot from Saidaijimachi Station, and was able to enter smoothly by climbing the grand staircase at the entrance. It's natural since it's a newly built building, but it's very beautiful. It was a little confusing to have to go to the 4th floor to get to the 3rd floor seats, but I was able to get to my seats without any hesitation. I took a seat next to the aisle, so it wasn't an inconvenience, but the distance between me and the seat in front of me was just enough that I could pass carefully if I was seated perfectly against the seat back. The seats are on the third floor, so you can look down on the seats quite a bit, but if you're sitting in the front seats leaning forward, it's a little difficult to see. Also, the armrest of the seat is shared with the person next to you. Also, I felt it would be nice if there were a few more restaurants around the theater. Visit period: February 2024

2024.3.20 I visited Fumiya Fujii for the first time on his 40th anniversary tour. It was just opened, so it was clean, but the seats were small. There are also few toilets. I think it's good that the entrance and exit are separate, but the overwhelming number of people... there was a line all the way outside. Also, it's a little confusing, like you have to go up to the 4th floor to get a seat on the 3rd floor. Although the view from my seat was on the third floor, I could see clearly if the person in front of me was sitting. I don't know much about the acoustics, but Fumiya-kun praised it as being very good. (I don't know if it's true or just a joke) It's a theater that has been built, so I hope that it will continue to be used by many people in the future. There are plenty of parking lots nearby, so I don't think it's that inconvenient, but I hear a lot of people are complaining about it. By the way, I stopped at the 24-hour limit of 700 yen across the road. I think it's reasonable... It probably cost a lot of money to make, so let's take advantage of it!

はじめての入場ですが中劇場で琴　三味線　尺八　などの演奏を堪能しました。会場は綺麗でほぼ満員で客席の角度が鋭角で中高年の移動は厳しいと感じました。以前の市民会館より音響は使用目的が違っているのか迫力感に欠けていると感じました。

The event was held in a medium-sized theater, so I sat on the third floor and looked down, but the height difference was quite a bit from the seats in front of me, so I could see the stage from the audience seats without having to look into it. I would like to use it again for concerts and performances. I wish there was more parking. All the surrounding areas are full. Is that the only area for improvement? Oh, and without the stopper, the door won't stay open. I would like to see an appropriate response to that.

This was my first time visiting, and I was disappointed in the large hall entrance and the way the dressing room was designed. Do you think the conditions would be better if there was a middle hall at the entrance to the dressing room? ? If you're going to make a new hole, I think it would be a good idea to make it with a little more room at the back. Anyway, the frontage is difficult to make because it's difficult to get into the delivery entrance.
