Asue Arena Osaka (Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium) Concerts 2025

The concert hall is so big. There are multiple entrance so visitors need to pay attention where their designated seat is. The staff will help you get to your seat. Visitors don't need to be worried if they feel hungry because there are shops and some vending machines that sell foods and drinks.

Decent concert venue. Good acoustics, easy access out of Osaka, vending machines inside without inflated pricing. The only downside is that after live performances, getting the train back is kind of a nightmare (walk a few blocks and get a bus back to Osaka instead).

Very friendly staff and the training room can be used by visitors for ￥600. Be sure to bring indoor shoes to change into. No outside shoes allowed. The training room is fairly spacious with free weights and machines.

3.5 star. Gym is equipped with good range of free weights racks, pin & plate loaded machines. Plate loaded machines are rather dated with rust on the both ends. I got rust on hands every time I load/unload plates.. Should be maintained with properly greased. Dipping belt is free to use but not free for weight belt (strange). Only one Water fountain provided in a locker room which is a bit inconvenient. Stretching area is good size. Shower has no amenities (shampoo /soap) equipped, sauna (dry) is in the shower area. As for the gym use, First timer requires to participate a mandatory orientation session with allocated schedule and Advance booking is required. Gym fee is currently reasonably priced with 600yen per visit as of the date of writing this review. Good retro kind of feeling gym with good range equipment for proper weight training. All equipments appear a bit dated (well used) compared to commercial gyms. Swimming pool adjacent to the gym with extra admission fee.

Up to date facilities, great gym, modern weights and equipment, very knowlegdeable staff. Can be used at 600 yen a day, but don't forget indoor sport specific shoes. Big no to outdoor shoes, & better use public transport as parking fee is high.
