Studio U-STONE Concerts 2024

Great place. Great music. Great staff.

I think this place fits around 400 ppl there, and makes concerts a good environment because of the proximity from the stage. I came there to watch FLOW and Uchikubi Gokumon and was the best concert I’ve watched in Japan.

It's close to the station, and it's also close to lodging and dining areas, so I feel it's very convenient for live performances and overnight stays on road trips like myself. There is a toilet one floor below. It feels old, but it has been cleaned and is easy to use. The floor is spacious and the stage is high, making it easy to see from anywhere. The staff at the reception and bar counter are very polite!

A few minutes walk from the nearest station. It's pretty close. There are many pubs in the area, so it's hard to see if you can kill time. I thought it would be best to take a car as it was just before the venue opened. There is a wide staircase in front of the building entrance, so you can wait on the premises, but there is no roof, so be careful in bad weather. Inside, the ceiling and stage are both high, but the audience seats are fairly flat, so it's unclear if it's easy to see to the rear. I don't think the acoustics are bad because the ceiling is high. The stage and toilet are on separate floors, which is a bit inconvenient. I need a dash during the encore (lol)

One of Shiga's leading live houses. Directly after getting off at Ishiyama Station, which takes about 14 minutes from JR Kyoto Station without changing trains. There are quite a few restaurants (mostly pubs) nearby, making it a very convenient location. ●The stage is not very high and is really close to the front. The floor itself is not that large, so you feel very close to the performers. ●The National Highway (Route 1) is right in front of the building, and there are private houses nearby, so there isn't much space to wait before entering. I think it's best to come just before the opening time. ●The bar counter for exchanging drinks is located at the rear of the 3rd floor. ●The toilet is on the second floor. Since the space is small and the number of tickets is small, it might be better to finish at the station before entering. There are no coin lockers, so we recommend using the lockers at the station.
