Saw Sum41 tonight. I was surprised such a huge bad played here as it is quite small. They have a system where you have to pay ¥600 to buy a drink when you go in, so even though you have a ticket, you still have to buy a drink. They also take away the cap, so bring a cap when you come as my wife ended up dropping her water and losing it all. The queue system was good, they sort you out by ticket number so no need to turn up 4 hours early to get to the front. They had loads of rules about mushing and crowd surfing, but they didn’t stop people from doing it. It got pretty wild. People were crowd surfing, but it was usually the same 4 idiots and it got annoying eventually. Venue is really good, great stage and good barriers installed to avoid a crush

As with so many things here it's generally good but the management is very odd. Sound is good. Sight lines are good. The barriers are good. Strangely they forced everyone to exit on one side via a very narrow hallway which seemed unsafe. To use your drink coin you had to exit the club to get in line and go through the drink line. Why not just let us go through the drink line on our way out of the club? Preshow line management was well organized though

Too small, too crowded. But Really the problem of the organizer. Have a good sounding system.

Decent sized music theatre with frequent live shows. Definitely approach my train and foot, rather than drive. Popular shows get very long lines that often go around the block, and nearby conbini are often swamped during show times. Lockers available inside for a few hundred yen.
