Shibetsu Salmon Plaza Reviews

Must see sturgeon! They are very used to people and will stick their heads out of the water and come to you, begging for food. It doesn't hurt at all when I put my hand in my mouth. If you can put your hand in your mouth, you will receive a card.

While on a business trip, I was looking for a place to eat lunch in Shibetsu town and found this place. Located on the premises of Salmon Bark. There is a place where you can eat and a souvenir corner. The building itself is new, clean and spacious, and the glass walls allow you to see the outside scenery and the fish swimming in the pond. The food menu is small. I had the ka curry, but it had a strong tomato flavor. I may have felt that way because I don't really like tomatoes. The cutlet is thick, easy to eat, and delicious. Don't expect too much service. Order from your mobile phone. Maybe the price is a little high? Might be good for those who want to eat quietly ❗

The weather is nice and it's a perfect day for soft serve ice cream. While relaxing in the open and spacious view of the trees in early summer, I ate the soft serve ice cream skillfully rolled by a smiling and pleasant lady. It feels so heavy that I thought, ``Whoa!'' when I held it, and the cone is filled with soft material right up to the pointy end. Made with milk from Shibetsu Town, it has a refreshing taste that will leave you satisfied. This is 400 yen, which is very cost-effective (lol), but if you eat it leisurely, the tip will break and the ice cream will leak out, so be careful (lol) Even if you don't go inside the restaurant, there is a small window next to the entrance where you can take out soft drinks and drinks, which is very convenient!

The building is quite stylish and still new and clean. There is a shop where you can buy drinks and sweets from the outside. Inside the building, half of the space was occupied by a cafe and restaurant, and there was also a small sales floor with specialty products. The restaurant seems to be open as usual until lunch, but it says that reservations are required for dinner.

2022.10.8 In Shibetsu town, where Japan's most salmon migrate upstream, we had a fried salmon burger for 1,300 yen and a Shibetsu salmon steak meal for 1,700 yen. The dishes prepared by those who know everything about salmon are delicious. I want to go again ^_^
