JR-East Shiki Theatre HARU/ AKI Concerts

It was a moving experience. I was very satisfied with the high level of performance by the Shiki Theatre Company, which was mind-blowing.

Frozen musical was amazing experience even with my limited Japanese. I had seats on the balcony and could see even the actor's expressions very clearly

The seats are very close together leaving very little leg room. Don't bring too much stuff if you want to watch here.

Beautiful building in a nice area of Tokyo. Easy access by train or car (parking is reasonable at ¥2400 daily maximum price). There is also a lovely park nearby for a stroll if you arrive early enough. And the pier is also very pretty. Only two small complaints: My first gripe is a temporary one. Despite all the news being about the third wave of Covid-19, there was no social distancing. Every seat was sold out. Most places these days space out their patrons, but not Shiki Gekijo. The second is that there was nowhere to get coffee or a snack during intermission. Even a vending machine would suffice. Thankfully there is a Tully's downstairs and a Lawson's in the building next door.
