Meguro Persimmon Hall Concerts 2024

Pretty unknown opera and classical music house i discovered when my pianist friend played 4 hand piano. She rented the small concert hall which welcome 150/200 pax. Recently i went there again to attend the Magical flute, Mozart’s opera and the sonority was excellent in the large concert hall. Near from central Tokyo.

Visited the 14th MIFA International Exchange festival here, not only an impressively architected place, but also with a very nice atmosphere. Also looked at Shodo books in the public library here.

This is a nice little hall but is surrounded by residential buildings. This means it attracts rd a crowd that is less interested in the concerts and rather want entertainment. Crowd here has poor etiquette which may drive you a little crazy. The hall itself is nice. Lower level performances, free concerts, community and school orchestras...

Really like this place. Very clean, good architecture and nice and quiet. There’s a lot of space to park bikes and the building is very spacious. Overall it’s a nice place to spend some time and relax

Beautiful with comfortable seats. Great stage and lighting. High quality sound system.
