If you're a visitor from outside of Japan and wondering about good venues to see a show or concert at, duo MUSIC EXCHANGE is a very good option: Orderly, reasonably priced, and good sound. It's more of a small club than a concert hall, so bear in mind that a crowd of 500 is about maximum capacity. Short version: Don't sleep on tickets as this place will sell out quickly. Also, for people who have access to the VIP mezzanine area, bear in mind that two large pillars obscure the stage. This affects people on the ground floor as well, but it's easy enough to move around from behind them. Located in the heart of Shibuya off a side street near some restaurants and bars, this is a very convenient location to see a show and do things before and after your event.

Intimate venue with very good sound quality. Great experience overall! If you enter early, there’ll be no pillar blocking the view problem as others have pointed out. Foreigner friendly too as the ticketing & entry process was easy, conveniently located in Shibuya area, great restaurants around still open after the show to grab a bite

Didn't like this venue at all. I went to an all-night dance event and I didn't feel very comfortable. The acoustics are bad for that type of music and there is absolutely no place to sit?? I think it's designed for live music concerts that last a couple of hours, not all-night events. Because there was nowhere to sit and enjoy your drink and the whole place basically was a dance floor, people went to the dance floor with their drinks and of course spilled them everywhere making the floor sticky very fast. There was no coin locker but instead a cloakroom that is outside, also very strange to me and kinda awful when the temperature is freezing.

Go-to venue for Metallica cover-band Hatallica, perfect size but has 2 concrete pillars in the middle of the floor to obstruct most rear views, so you absolutely must watch from the front.

Honestly it's a pretty terrible venue for a concert. There are 3 cement pillars that block your view from almost anywhere in the room. Also, they force you to buy a drink ticket upon entry. They need to get that extra money from the ticket sales I guess.
