La Maraka Reviews

This place is good for learning to dance, but it can be somewhat complicated to enjoy a concert... the seats are tables with chairs, so if you go as a couple you will surely have to share with other people, and if you go alone it can be uncomfortable. If you are seated up front but on the sides, your visibility can be obstructed by the people who are trying to record or take photos. I know it's their job, but sometimes they can be annoying.

Incredible event and concert space!

During my recent visit to La Maraka, I was disappointed to find that the theater, while offering concerts, was not a very pleasant place to be. The poor acoustics certainly detracted from the overall experience. Unfortunately, I also had issues with the pricing tactics employed by La Maraka. I felt that the prices they charged were exorbitant compared to what could be found elsewhere. For example, I purchased a liter of juice for $150 pesos, only to later discover that it was a cheap juice that could be purchased for $23 pesos elsewhere. It was a frustrating experience that made me feel like I had been ripped off. To make matters worse, I also felt like I was being manipulated when La Maraka included the tip in the total amount, disguised as the overall price. It made it difficult for me to know how much I was really spending and felt like a sneaky way to extract more money from me. Overall, my experience at La Maraka was not positive, and I had issues with both the environment of the theater and the business practices employed there.
