Plaza de Toros Santa María Concerts 2024

Loved performing at this outside arena for Maluma’s 11:11 World Tour :)

I was really sad that they weren't having any events while I visited. The plaza itself is beautiful though. I really had a lot of questions, and no one there to answer them for me. Are these old school bull fights? Where they kill the bull? I think that would be hard for me to watch. Or do they just entertain by dodging the bull?

Small bull arena, need some maintenance

The traditional façade and the building in general is very well kept. You will always find it fully crowded during bullfighting season. A setback is that the building is not prepared for handicapped users.

One of my favorites the crown of bullrings in Bajio. St Marie Plaza has a scent, tradition and class. December bullfights are a must in the taurine calendar. Don't miss the Plaza Bar try to be early if you go on car. Queretaro is the place for bullfight and Santa Maria one of the best seats.
