Koninklijk theater Tuschinski Concerts 2024-2025

I completely fell in love with the Pathé Koninklijk Theater Tuschinski. First I spent €22.50 for a balcony seat to watch Challengers - the view was spectacular (the film was shown in English with Dutch subtitles) and the ticket included a drink and a snack. The fancy cocktail bar - Bar Abraham - attached to the cinema is a real treat too. The next morning I booked - in advance - at €15 to join the audio tour. The tour is informative and you get to learn more about the architecture. Built by Polish immigrant, Abraham Icek Tuschinski, the cinema opened in 1921 and with its jaw-dropping Art Deco interior is the most beautiful cinema I’ve ever seen. As a cinema-lover it was a real privelege to experience this extraordinary theatre - I would return in a heartbeat.

If you are in amsterdam and want to have a special night, this place is amazing. It is another option to always go to the bar/restaurant. We saw a movie in the main room and the quality of the sound and image was really good. The seats were nice, you can also book for a double seat, which is perfect for a couple.

Went to see dune part 2 and wasn’t expecting the theater to be very high quality because of its old nature. However I was pretty surprised with the audio quality and picture of quality in such an old fashioned theater. Really cool experience and is a definite must see if your a movie nerd like me.

Love this place! Amazing architecture, incredible interiors, you may have an audio tour in the morning before movie and see Al the hidden places of this cinema and dive to the history of this place. I recommend it! You can book in on their website.

This is a great old theater that has been updated and still retains the old school elegance. Super comfortable seats and good quality sound and film. It is very nice to be able to have a nice drink with your movie The bar is also super comfortable. The workers give very welcoming service.
