Great setting and atmosphere. The rural, woodland/farming surroundings helps to bring everyone attending into a more relaxed mood. Good use of space makes it easy to navigate. Large seating area, spacious set up and calmer areas allow this open air theater to feel fairly uncrowded, even when at (near) capacity.

Very nice place for a concert or an event. Well organised open air theather. I have visited it for Caro Emerald concert and other day for Arfican Festival. Both events had super atmosphere where crowd was able to stand 1 meter away from artists. One tip: it can be very loud there so any sound stoppers are preferable.

I would never have imagined visiting Hertme, let alone the Openluchttheater in this quaint little town. The theater seats about 2,000 people and it was packed for a performance by local supergroup Epica, joined by two earlier supporting acts. A great venue, friendly people, good concession choices, a wonderful outdoor setting, go if you have an opportunity to do so!
