Amare Concerts 2024-2025

It's a nice concert hall. I'm grateful that it's so nearby. Fairly modern, and many halls for different types of performance.

Beautiful Theater, always having entertainment lined up, I watched two shows. Alice in the Echerland and the Elvis Presley music Memoir show. Amare offers beautiful lockers to keep things (for free) during the show and the tickets of the two show comes with a free drink during the breaks, wine, soft drinks and water too. I loved my experience at Amare.

Beautiful building, slightly confusing layout. The cantine on the 3rd floor is a bit disappointing, but they are improving. I haven't tried the brasserie on the ground floor but I hear it's better. Really good offering of concerts and opera's. Harder to find on the informative monitors and leaflets but the royal conservatory, also in the same building, also offers high quality concerts and events, including fully staged operas. It's worth checking out their website. It's is the home of the Royal Conservatoire, the Dutch National Opera Academy, the Dutch National Dance Theatre, and the Residentie Orkest among others, and you're sure to find a good show playing most nights.

Finally I visited Amare for NDT! The space is very welcoming for the public and has a pluridisciplinary program. And it's only a few minutes' walk from the train station, very practical! There's a Mercure hotel next to it, as well as an animated shopping district and the Chinatown. I will definitely come back!
